El Barrio, Alicante's old town, is where people go out for tapas and drinks. To be clear from the start: The Jack is not in El Barrio. We are in Benalúa, at Calle Alberola 16, about a 25-minute walk or 5 minutes by taxi.
Plenty of members come to The Jack before going out: a game of pool, some time in the shisha lounge and good conversation. On Fridays and Saturdays we are open until 00:00.
What The Jack is
The Jack is a private social club: a non-profit cannabis association for members aged 18 or over. It is not a bar and it is not open to the public.
To come in you need to become a member, which you can do at the club in a few minutes with your ID. And one important rule if you head to El Barrio afterwards: everything stays inside the club. On the street, consumption is banned and fined.

How late are you open?
Until 23:00 from Sunday to Thursday, and until 00:00 on Friday and Saturday.
Can we come as a group?
Yes, as long as everyone is a member. Each person joins with their own ID, and everyone must be 18 or over.
Can I go in without being a member?
No. First you become a member at the club, in a few minutes. After that you can come whenever you like.
Can I take something with me for the night?
No. Everything stays inside the club. Outside, on the street or the beach, consumption is banned.
